That's what goes through your head when you're a Rhodes going from a program with Processed individuals to a Rex Ryan run team.

I think he's just trying to bring out a point about the NFL culture. But yeah that was a bad way of going about it.

He should have kept that quote to himself, but I don't think anyone can claim that what he said is not true.

They are all there for the paycheck. Just because the ying yang from college is gone doesnt change the game. Locker rooms vary but these guys are all pros.

Most of the stuff stays in the locker room too. McElroy is an idiot in this situation.

I dunno, but maybe you should check with some LSU players. They have been called for more chop blocks and gotten away with more than AU, so they appear to be the experts on the subject.

Ginger needs to keep his mouth shut, but honestly this is the culture that Ryan has created. That culture is great when you are winning, but when you aren't the wheels fall off.

McElroy is no doubt an intelligent individual. However, in being constantly told he is the smartest guy in the room, he has subconsciously convinced himself that what he has to say is above reproach at all times. Sometimes it takes more intelligence not to open your mouth. He has not figured this out yet. As such, he will probably be searching for a new team soon.

Man, I hope that the Jets can replace their third string QB. Probably worth it to speak out. Hopefully his convictions will keep him warm when he's pumping gas.

I love how people are upset about this guy saying this. I think it's hilarious

Cam Newton: Lets his performance on the field be his example.

Self-admitted "more NFL ready" Greg McElroy: Forgets to change his feminine pad.

I don't think it was smart of him to comment publicly. However, I doubt that a Rhodes Scholar finalist will have to resort to pumping gas b/c he loses his 3rd string QB position.

I have no issue whatsoever with Greg McElroy speaking the truth.

Selfishness destroyed that team, nothing wrong with someone saying it

and please STFU with this what is done in the locker room stays in the locker room BS, season is over, he can speak the truth all he chooses

He's already had ESPN time (received good reviews), has a Father who is an executive for an NFL team, Graduated already, and STILL could pull a Jay Barker and live off the Fanbase for decades.

Yeah, I think he'll do fine.

He shouldn't have said it but I believe every word he said was true. The media will crucify him because he's talking bad about the New York Jets.

Professional athletes are selfish. They complain they make $15 million instead of $18 million... for playing a game for a living.

It's a lot easier to say this behind their back to the media than approaching them when he hears this kind of talk. I don't have a problem with it but that's pretty spineless of him if he hasn't approached anyone in the locker room about it first. I don't know all the facts so I'm not going assume anything but he's not being a good leader or "locker room guy" by doing this
