I'll throw out two teams that I in no way think actually have a claim to this title but are worth mentioning, imo.

2010 redemptorist: Jeremy hill and lael Collins

2010 Patterson: Kenny Hilliard plus many d1 signees

which is why that 98 WM is one of the 5 best ever put on the field in LA... they like 82 ruston - beat an awfully good team in district play and in the dome....

1980 Ehret lost to Barbe in semis that year. A TERRIBLE call of offensive pass interference, LHSAA referees sucked back then too. East St John beat Barbe in state championship held at Strawberry Stadium. ESJ beat Ehret in regular season not in playoffs.

Eskimo and barbe played at McNeese not strawberry st aug Covington played at strawberry in 75

It wasn't offensive PI The buc TE was running his route the ehret safety was coming up and stopped the TE ran into him trying to get to the ball seen that called many times......impeding the receiver from gettin to the ball without making a play on the ball is what?

Gutsy call by vicknair to go for two and the win.
