Barry Bonds may be the most gifted baseball player ever. He was a hallmark of farmer before he took steroids and had he not been caught up in all that shite (by his own doing) he may have had a case for the greatest player of all time.
There is no “may” about it. Barry Bonds was absolutely the greatest baseball player of all time.

wrong.
Babe Ruth and it's not even close.
Bonds isn't even in the top 10.
Griffey is twice the player as Bonds even without the juice.
Bonds was a defensive liability with a rag arm.

Despite both finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively in career receiving yards, Terrell Owens and Randy Moss never led the NFL in receiving yards for a season.

Barry Bonds Hits + Walks = 5493. He did this in 12606 plate appearances with a career SLG % of 0.606
Pete Rose Hits + Walks = 5822. He did this in 15890 plate appearances with a career slugging % of 0.409.
If anyone questions how great Barry Bonds was just remember he reached base just 323 times less than the hit king even though Rose made over 3000 more plate appearances than Bonds. Bonds avg season hits + walks was 298 and his avg plate appearances were 628. He did this all while slugging over 0.600 and stealing over 500 bases.

In 1919, Babe Ruth hit 29 HRs... as a pitcher!
In 1921, Babe Ruth hit more home runs (59) than any other AL team did in total. For Bonds to have done the equivalent, he would have had to hit 200+ HRs in one season.
Ruth changed the game. Bonds only changed drug testing.

It took 6,829 plate appearances before Joey Votto hit an infield pop-out to a first baseman.
