Looking back....I meant to put Brees ahead of Ryan. I guess I overlook Brees to him not being in the playoffs recently. Sad that Brees is one of the elite QB's in the NFL and the ownership won't surround him with talent. The Saints could be a force every year if they had the talent.

I think he deserves to be there. His stats are pretty solid .

Any person who doesn't have Brees at the top of their list is a freakin' idiot

He's good. His OL was arguably the worst in the NFL last year.

Carr and Prescott that high? A bit premature.

I know that the majority of people on this board are Saints fans, but it's absolutely absurd the amount of people who make it seem like Brees is clearly better than Ryan. Brees has obviously had the better career, but I think Ryan had a better year last year. Also, I don't get the Andrew Luck love over Cam. For me, I'd go:

1. Tom Brady
2. Aaron Rodgers
3. Drew Brees
4. Matt Ryan
5. Ben Roethlisberger
6. Russell Wilson
7. Cam Newton
8. Derek Carr
9. Andrew Luck
10. Dak Prescott

This list is just one man's opinion used to generate a discussion. I'm open to counter arguments and criticism. I just really think those 2 (Dak and Carr) are the future of the league and they are also presently ridiculously good. People are up in arms about me putting Brees at 5, but I still placed him in the top 5 even though he routinely throws untimely interceptions and rarely makes the playoffs. I respect Brees. For much of his career with the Saints he's been a top 3 QB in the league. Last year he took a step back though. Like I said though, those are just my top 10 and everyone is allowed to have their own opinions. We will see how this season unfolds. Can't wait.

better than Dak

These 13 aren't even debatable, he's not even close to their level

Brady
Rodgers
Brees
Ryan
Luck
Wilson
Ben
Carr
Newton
Luck
Cousins
Stafford
Mariota

I'll take these over him too

Rivers
Flacco
Wentz

Such a goddamn cop out. You had Dak at #3, that is literally unarguably dumb.

Yeah I have Dak at 3. I own that. Also, I just checked the stats and Dak was #3 in both Passer Rating and QBR last year so actually after doing some additional research, my ranking of Dak isn't even that far fetched.

Also, Brees is 5th in both of those metrics. My initial eye test rankings of these players was incredibly accurate. My top 10 is damn strong. Feel free to bump this thread during the season if I end up being wrong.

Newton, Luck, Mariota, Rivers, Flacco (Lol) and Wentz (ROFL) aren't even in the same hemisphere as Dak.

Dallas was 30th in the NFL in pass attempts per game and Dak was 23rd among all QBs with 459 attempts. Not as hard to be efficient when you barely throw the ball. He was essentially a glorified game manager last year. I think he has the potential to be an elite QB but a rookie year which he didn't have do so much isn't enough.
