Even then, putting Prescott no.3 going into the last season was really dumb.

1. Rodgers
2. Brady
3. Brees
4. Ryan
5. Russell Wilson
6. Andrew Luck(obviously assuming he comes back to his pre-injury form)
7. Wentz
8. Dak (everyone is all over Wentz and hating on Dak. Through 2 seasons, Dak has been better than Wentz, so we need to dial it back a notch IMO)
9. Cam
10. Mariota(He had about as unlucky of a season as a QB has had in quite some time last season)

All Dak has ever done in his football career is overachieve. If he would’ve listened to the doubters, he would’ve been a 4 yr backup fullback at LSU. Sure I overrated him and over extrapolated his improvement from year 1 to 2, but that’s not nearly as bad as those who have criminally underrated him throughout his career. He won’t be at 3 this year. He may not crack my top 10. I’ll have to see what the film says. Not having Dez in his ear all of the time may lead to improvement so I may knock him up a spot or two higher than what my film analysis tells me.

He is 6'2" 238 lbs and athletic as hell
Lets not act like he is the little engine that could

Of course he’s athletic and he has reasonable size, but he only got one real offer to play QB and it was from a bottom tier SEC school at the time. Also, the guy got constantly compared to Tebow and was drafted in the 4th rd (behind Paxton and Connor Cook - gag) instead of the top 10 where he belonged.

I think it's fair to say he's been undervalued up to this point in his career, counting college.

Top 5 and you really can’t put them in order is:
Brees
Brady
Rodgers
Ryan
Wilson
After that it’s all on personal preference but Dak is not a top 10 QB. You people are high.

I wouldnt call him an "overachiever" though in terms of football
Those are for players that have a significant size or athletic disadvantage IMHO

He certainly has just as good of a case in that 8-10 range than a whole bunch of guys.
I'm guessing you'd have no problems putting Wentz in your top 10, right?

Rodgers
Brees
Brady
Wentz
Ryan
Is how I would rank top 5 going into next year
People that think any of ryan, Dakota, or carr better than brees are on drugs

Meh, I just threw the list together in 30 seconds. Some of the names could obviously be moved around, I wasn’t super particular about the order of 6-10.

Thx for the follow-up. Probably could have put that effort into editing.
