Don't feel like looking it up, i just remember you saying something along the lines of it was safe to say he was just mediocre.
No. I said Rodgers now was 20/23 games where his passer rating is under 100. At what point, do we say this isnt a bad stretch and this is his new normal, AKA mediocre

But the reality was(especially if you follow any of the advanced guys breaking down every play) that Rodgers was no different.

I disagree shel

sub 100 passer rating games

2008 first season- 8

2009-6

2010-8

2011-2

2012-8

2013-4

2014-5

*****2015- 13, with 11 straight to end the season

2016- 9 out of 12 games when the thread was started

Look, something was off in his game.

And I'm not saying he doesn't belong in the top spot. Just last year was really weird for him.

I agree. I admit Rodgers had a stretch where he looked off.

However, he recovered in my eyes and is #1 and on pace to be GOAT

1. Brady
2. Rogers
3. Big Ben
4. Ryan
5. Brees
6. Wilson
7. Carr
8. Luck
9. Cousins
10. Newton

I didn't include Prescott. The only reason why is that it is hard to judge based off of one season. I don't doubt Prescott has top 10 talent but I want to see how he does in year 2 and year 3.

I know he's criminally underrated, but how had Philip Rivers not even been mentioned yet?

He didn't have a great year last year, granted he was getting hit at David Carr levels.

He led the league in INTs but was 5th in yards and 4th in TDs.

He's 24th in completion percentage, 19th in rating, and 29th in interception percentage. He was not a top 10 QB last year.

Rivers is a better quarterback than Prescott, who's getting a lot of love in this thread.

3) Dak Prescott

Lets give him another year, please. Kaep was a phenom for a bit.

This is the smart thing. Remember, Cam was middle of the pack for 4 straight seasons, then had an obvious outlier season, and people thought he was the best. He then follows that year up with a below average season, showing clearly that he is not top 10.

So, after a decade of being one of the better QBs in the league he gets dropped out of the top 10 for a rookie because of one season's stats.

Thanks for proving my point that he's criminally underrated.

One was a rookie who had a great season, and the other was an aging vet who had a mediocre season. It's not like Rivers lit the world on fire in 2015 either, so I have zero problem with someone ranking current Dak Prescott over Phillip Rivers. I probably wouldn't, but it's not egregious.

Give any of the QBs named in the thread Dallas' Oline and running game and they put up better numbers than Prescott.

ETA: Prescott wasn't great. He was extremely efficient. There's a difference.
