you can't have 'if necessary'.

Who would sponsor that and how would it work. No no. You have to have it set in stone or there's no chance in hell.

Why the hell not?

What's so hard about setting rules that a team needs to meet to qualify for the championship playoff/semi-final?

If only two teams qualify, then only two teams play for the championship.

If 3 qualify, then the top "seed" since playoff people like seeds so much, gets a bye week.

The BCS is only meant to give you the top 2, though.
I know, but you can use the same criteria to determine the top 6 teams

Also you guys are just casually ignoring that presidents won't agree to not have autobids for conference champs
I know this too, but I can dream

It's safe to say that Gary Patterson is an offensive FAIL.

I don't really like either of these coaches for LSU if I was forced to pick. I'd take Petersen over Patterson though.

I'd still take both of Miles. LOL

Maybe it's just me, but I don't get why QB's play 4th down the same way they do 1-3. It's 4th down, even if they guy isn't completely open just give them a chance. If it's picked, it's picked, but don't just basically throw it away on 4th down.

How would you feel if every major team played 1 BCS opponent the entire season?

How about only one ranked team the entire season?

It would over complicate the economics of everything. Too much uncertainty about venue and such.
