Gilbert Arenas says 'get rid of all the Europeans' to make the NBA better

Complaining about the NBA no defense, Euroball league.
"You go to college to learn defense. What college do Europeans go to? They have no athleticism. They have no speed, no jumping ability. They are a liability on defense," Arenas continued.
"The NBA took away aggression to open the Euro-league. When they first started it was too rough for them ... so eventually they softened the rules, they didn't soften the rules for the Americans, they softened the rules to open it up international."

Replace that headline with "Luka Doncic and Nikola Jokic says get rid of all the africans to make the NBA better" and it's the top ESPN & CNN headline while numerous race riots break out.

I think Gilbert Arenas was one of the worst defensive players in the NBA when he played

euroleague is 100% more physical. it's why americans struggle in international competitions because it takes a bit to get used to not foul baiting.

Irony is thinking that athleticism makes better defenders.
Athleticism at an extreme leads to relying on it. They don’t seem to understand that guys like Rodman excelled not on athleticism but honing their craft.
Defense is an effort thing and when coaches have basically stopped coaching defense now since players bitch and moan about being “tired”, it has nothing to do with Euroball.
