The New York Giants have announced the firing of head coach Joe Judge. The news comes one day after it was revealed general manager Dave Gettleman will enter retirement.

The Giants finished with a 4-13 record this season, which brought his two year total to 10-23. New York concluded the regular season on Sunday with a 22-7 loss to the rival Washington Football Team.
From CBS. Kinda BS that Gettleman can “retire” but Judge gets a good old firing.

He ran a QB sneak on 3rd and 9. He should've been fired during that game

I don’t care at all about the Giants but I was actually going to be mad if they brought him back. The offense they put on the field was an abomination

Anyone coaching this team is a dead man walking.

The story about thinking they'd be fired in New England in 2018 is maybe the best coaching bullshittery ever.

But I thought people on winning organizations were calling and begging to come back to the New York Football Giants?!

Guy was a complete tool and elicited no respect from his players. Also the offense was as bad as anything I've ever seen from a professional franchise over the last 5 games and I watched every game of the 0-16 Browns with DeShone Kizer at the helm

What do you have to do to keep an NFL job these days? Playoffs year one? Advance in the playoffs by year three. I’m not really directing this at Judge, because I don’t think he was the guy, but there have already been a few firings that have me asking those questions.

The Giants were going to keep him no matter what, but the fan and local media backlash after the final game and the 3rd and 9 play forced ownerships hand.

Mara doesn't want to be one of those organizations that fires coaches every 2 year, but that is exactly what they have become. They're a bottom feeder program right now with a first class brand name.

One of the craziest things about Belichick is how terrible his coaching tree is. It's pure awful.

No one has been worth a damn except Nick Saban and that's in college.

Applies to Flores mostly. Zimmer was good overall but after 8 years he had run his course. Nagy's record wasn't as bad as his press was but his offense was hideous the whole tenure for an offensive guy. Fangio and Judge never showed any promise.

I'd say showing some progress helps, both in the win column and statistically. The Giants are just as big of a joke right now as the team they share their stadium with.

Do you mean a QB draw or an actual sneak?
