We all knew stutters as kids...in school some real bad ones.
Stutters who develop late in life is a symptom of anxiety...but that's in the moment.
When you stutter on a daily basis as a kid, even after a calm peaceful nap...that's way different. That's a definite speech disorder.
Kids can have stuttering problems based on anxiety just like minor OCD temporary superstition or wishful thinking) - but if it's prolonged and everyday, that's something different.
That's not anxiety. I mean anxiety can be everyday - but it wouldn't constantly affect a professional who is in that evironment all the time. You are implying it's public speaking or public appearance...because of the interview.
Nah, he just has a speech impediment. He's a professional baseball player use to the spotlight.

He doesn't have a stutter or speech impediment. He's flustered from an amazing game.

Yeah he most definitely does and has a foundation and yearly fundraiser in Houston for it.
Springer is an awesome guy. Frustrating to watch sometimes as a player because when he's going bad it's really bad and when he's going good he's absolutely incredible, but he is genuine and goes all out whether it's the World Series or Spring Training
Couldn't be happier that he was the one with the decisive hit and I think it's a good sign for us that he had a big game

He has a stutter you a-hole and he's actually extremely open about it. He even runs a kids program that directly helps kids who stutter and the entire reason he gets up in those situations is to show the kids he mentors they dont have to be afraid of talking because of a stutter.
frick you.
frick you.

And that's awesome to do that.
So kids can see a role model dealing with it.
Like I said, Lester Hayes did that. And his stutter was really bad.
He never shied away from any interview and his interviews took a long time. And nobody really said anything back then...like this was bad or something.

Exactly. He's a great player and people are beginning to recognize him in a similar way to JJ Watt, at least in Houston. He's not JJ Watt level notoriety, but this a big time for a lot of Houston fans that don't typically pay attention during the season to finally start to latch on to the great group of guys assembled on the Astros. I can hardly think of any "bad guys" on the team as it currently stands. Springer to me is one of the easiest guys to latch on to given the type of people who watch baseball avidly in the Houston area.
