I really don't think Piazza was the gay Mets player. It was most likely Roberto Alomar who was the gay Mets player.

speaking of addicts, quite a few of them are gay. When I had to go rehab (alcohol) a few years ago, there were some true self loathers in there. One guy broke down in a meeting and just finally admitted it.

In all seriousness, my cousin who is a BAMA alum and has close ties to the athletic department told me recently that it is a known fact among some BAMA fans that Julio Jones is gay.
