It is absolutely wild how high this guy's stock was, only for him to be a massive fraud.

He was an excellent OC, then was incredible at UH as HC. UH was 22-4 with him and beat FSU in the Peach Bowl and then OU and Louisville when they were both ranked in the top 5 the next season.
Texas is a different animal for everyone, but it did fall apart there

I am in the minority, but at the time I thought Texas should’ve given him more time. 2020 was bizarro world and it seemed odd to fire him then.
Tom is a weird one though, and didn’t align with the culture at UT, to put it bluntly.
