Yeah, if refs had called the obvious face mask on Nebraska near the end of the first half Illinois might have put it away in regulation.
Butterfly effect and all would have changed other things obviously, but that no call gifted Nebraska the chance to take the lead going into half. They capitalized, so good for them, but I think Illinois might shake things up a little this year.
Time will tell. Just glad the game was entertaining.

I mean, that Illinois team I saw tonight is legit good. Like top 15 or better good.
They have a beast of a 4 game slate starting next week, but if they get out of that 3 - 1, then they will be in the playoffs no question.
