He had Cujo and Richter type reflexes then he had Hasek luck.

TSN has a report that the Panthers are talking to the Leafs for Kessel.
Florida's GM wont deny the rumor.
I am waiting for the Leafs to dump Phaneuf still. I think they are just ready to get rid of everything and rebuild.
If Calgary hadn't been so dumb, they could have kept Phaneuf, Rehgher, and Iginlia for a solid core for last few years.
But Calgary's stupidity still does not top the Habs stupidity of February 9, 2011.

The Phaneuf trade was the moment I couldn't take rooting for the Flames anymore. It was just so collossally stupid. They got a bunch of role players back and then with the money saved, went out and signed Jay Bouwmeester, who is the single most overrated defenseman in hockey, whose contract cost them Regher.
I just snapped. I'll see if I can dig up my rant on it.

I found where I offered the Caps two visors, Kaberle, and jocks for some stick tape.
To this day that was one of the most ignorant trades made, Kaberle for Spacek straight up. He was the worst leader of the PP ever.

he did a good job for us being a stay at home defenseman forcing guys to dump and chase from the blueline allowing our other speedier dman to get to puck and either make a stretch pass or clear it if needed.
