Montreal is probably better served to NOT win their division so they can avoid the Bruins.

we own the bruins. beat them in 02 as a 8th seed, 04 as a 7th seed, 07, 2014. If i go before those years i'll be here typing all night. Yeah they got us in 2009. I'm only concerned with their dirty goonin tactics. we will skate circles around them. It's gonna be a bitch no matter who we face. The east is loaded.

The east is going to be a blast. Wide open. I'd love to get the Caps as we own them in the playoffs and have the better goaltender. Much rather face them than the Rangers assuming Henrik is healthy.

As for the West, can't take the Blues serious same shite every year, may be cursed. If and when they finally get over that Chicago or LA hump may they be taken seriously. Them and the Sharks are one in the same.

The Islanders may be the best draw for many teams though with their complete lack of defense and Halak sucking it up.

Huge night for the Habs last night.

Gained 2 on the whole division au off contenders.

Boston blew a 3 goal lead
Tampa blew a lead
Detroit was head to head and a great game.

So glad we kept price and traded halak. He was phenomenal in 2010 in the playoffs but that was an anomaly. Price is the better long term guy.

Hopefully the goonins choke and don't even get a wild card. I'd love to see that.

That was a big win for our Habs last night.

Sole possession of 1st in the Eastern Conference!

Keep it rolling boys!

I do not care for the 1 in whole conference just want the 1 in division.

ECF is going to be a "war" no matter who it is and by no way do I think the Habs are a lock.

But want to keep Detroit matchup until 2nd round.

It would take an epic choke for the Bruins to miss the playoffs. The top 8 in the East are all essentially in barring a complete and total collapse.

Doesn't mean we can't all cheer for it!

Hell no there are no locks. Every round is a bitch. This is arguably the toughest championship to win in pro sports. We've mAde the. Conference finals two of the last 5 years. Its time we get over the hump. MB and CMT have us on track and have done well their first two seasons. Word is the brass is not expecting anything this year either. Might take a couple more years. Who knows. No guarantees.

Agreed. I think all of us regulars hate that team. The only swinging Dick I have seen rooting for them was that clown zantrix. Lol. He is MIA now like canfan. Of course can fan was a good. Guy and a regular.

Ha, I was just thinking about the teams I despise. It's pretty much Pittsburgh and Chicago. The Bs just annoy me. I think Lucic and Chara are apes/clowns. Probably need a few more years of the Wings in the east to get the disdain for other squads going. I basically like everybody else, even Colorado as the late 90's rivalry is dead and gone.

This is correct!

always have been always will be!

I hate the goonins more than anyone. dislike the leafs but they haven't won shite since 1967!!

I used to hate the sabres when they had the Dominator. I hated it when they swept us in the semis back in 1998 after we disposed of the pens in the quarterfinals. Dude was a tough nut to crack. he would frustrate the living hell out of teams. he was so unorthodox.

As far as teams I hate it's very simple

Bruins
Any team that has Vigneault behind the bench
Rangers--how I miss the 1940 chants

My teams I root against
Flames because of 89 and handing St Patrick his only SCF loss.
Detroit they and the Avs had wars and I was a St Patrick fan
Arizona because they made the Queen come down

of course i'm sure rags fans feel no remorse beating us with tokes in net instead of carey.

meh. it is what it is. give them credit for beating us. of course i never liked that lanny mcdonald SOB.

never hated the wings but yes those were some terrific series. the avs would actually be my second favorite team. i liked the name, the jerseys, the colors, and of course St. Patrick went there thanks to those assclowns named houle and trembley. they both should have been hung on St. Catherines for what they pulled.

remember the fight between Roy and Vernon? good stuff.
