Bob Bondurant passed away last night
Badass American driver... racing school owner
1964- won Le Mans GT Class (4th overall) driving for Shelby - Cobra Daytona Coupe... Dan Gurney was his co-driver
1965 - FIA Manufactures World Championship- Shelby over Ferrari
- Drove 1 race for Ferrari North American works team F1... USGP 9th place finish
1966 - F1 - Monaco GP 4th place finish
- Belgian GP - pulled Jackie Stewart to safety from a wrecked/fuel leaking car with the help of Graham Hill
1968 - Opened up his famed high performance driving school
1969 - Won Baja500 in the passenger car class with an AMC Rambler... in June (man enough for ya?)
Also ran multiple times in Nascar and at least 1 SCCA Championship race finishing 6th

I'm not. the softs were projected to fall off before the end, and Lewis was gonna have to drive them really hard the whole time. No room for degradation in such a short, hard run.
I'm surprised Max didn't pass bottas in the last couple laps for this reason.

Nobody wants to take unnecessary chances in these sprints. Lewis didn't care since he got the grid penalty.
As fast as Lewis has been this weekend, be surprised if he doesn't win it.
