It’s not football stadium loud, but that’s because it’s so spread out. It’s a lot of fun seeing/hearing the crowd reactions. Can’t wait to see a great overtake tomorrow and the reaction.

My view from Turn 9. Crowd was incredible yesterday for qualifying, so I’m really looking forward to the actual race today. Traffic was a nightmare leaving last night though. Made leaving Tiger Stadium seem like a walk in the park.

We are in turn 9 as well. We stayed for Billy Joel, but left after the main set which appropriately concluded with piano man, played exactly at 9 o’clock on a Saturday. We heard 3 of the encore songs on the walk to the car and got to walk across the track instead of the bridge. My son and his friend grabbed a couple pieces of the gravel as souvenirs.
No issues with traffic getting out at that time.
We’re going to see Shaq, aka DJ Diesel after the race concludes. Hopefully that will let some of the traffic die down. It’s too far to walk for Kool and the Gang.

Same, stayed for the whole concert and was shocked how easily we got out. Went walk on the track and took a few pics, I was surprised at the hills from turn 11 to turn 12.
