Am I crazy thinking that Russell still had a fighting chance for 10th, even with the last corner, had he stayed in it? He never got back on throttle down the straight.
I just rewound it, he was P5 time through 2nd sector. He was over -0.800 better than P10 at 2nd sector and probably even quicker till last turn.
ETA: -.600 of P10 at the time ended up aiming final spot for Q3

Lots of smoke out there that if Andretti buys Alfa, Colton Herta will get the vacant seat.
ETA - obviously he doesn’t have enough SL points but if the deal happens soon, he may be able to run some FP1 sessions.
