You know Albon is wrecking Lewis if he gets the chance. Lewis screwed him over twice.

Hopefully, Mercedes will have Lewis alone on the starting grid with hards.

According to Marko, Lewis is the reason Alex is no longer in F1.

Not that Marko had anything to do with it...

Marko seems like a terrible person honestly. Red Bull is freaking cut-throat.

Any more word on this?

Nothing. Very likely to be false. Believe it came from a random Italian media source that nobody else reported.

I think I read last night that the teams have already denied it. No driver is sick.

Saw on Instagram Max in a helicopter in route to the circuit and Checo made a post from Red Bull headquarters a few hours ago. So I'm assuming that report was inaccurate.

Albon in the car would take Mercs out like Bottas in Hungary.

The original poster said it was either a RBR or AT driver, and someone else said it came from an Italian outlet, so that would lead me to believe it was probably an Alpha Tauri driver.

But the report is probably bunk.

The ideal scenario for Red Bull:

1. Perez has to miss the race.
2. Albon has signed with IndyCar, so he has given up on an F1 future (Albon visited the recent IndyCar race at Indy and talked to teams, so this is a real possibility).
3. Put Albon in the Red Bull.
4. Time to go bowling.

All the drivers are at the track now. So doesn't seem like the report is true.

Alonso has been so much fun to watch. I hope he has a good car and a good engine next year.

Alonso holding up Hamilton at the Hungarian Grand Prix was brilliant driving.

Agreed. One of the highlights of the season so far IMO. Alonso races hard but fair. Kind of like Kimi. Will make you earn the pass but won't wreck you.

Alonso's breakdown of Hamilton's drive was brutal. Called him out on his driving.

Think it was a shot back at Hamilton calling out Alonso over the "weaving"

I am a bit surprised there hasn't been anything on the contract front with George Russell. Is he really going to be stuck in the Williams again next year?

Valtteri Bottas and George Russell have remained coy over who will drive for Mercedes in #F1 next year

I think they all know their fates. From their comments, I believe Russell will be in the Mercedes seat next year, and the delay in the announcement is simply because one or both are still negotiating their contracts. If they were staying put for next year, the announcement would have been made by now.
