Mercedes may have shifted a lot of their development time to the 22 car.

It makes sense that Red Bull on the other hand would go for broke with development, trying to win in 21.

Current FP2 (20min to go) has VER topping the chart, PER in 10th .6 sec back.

No idea what kind of stints they have been running.

Ferrari doesn't look terrible, atleast not in FP1 and so far in FP2. Leclerc was 5th in FP1, .599 off Max, and Carlos was 8th .972 off Max.

Alfa Romeo even looked better than expected in FP2.

Haas has replaced Williams

Haas is a train wreck. To think a few years ago they battled for 4th in the Constructors.

My wife informed me last night that we have to go to a race this season. American GP or Mexican GP?

ETA: If I had my choice it would be Singapore or Monaco but I'll save those for a better traveling time.

Canadian GP is set to announce their criteria soon. IF covid restrictions don't frick it too much that might be the best option outside of American GP.

I really want to do Canada or Mexico, I just can't bring myself to pull the trigger with all the uncertainty still.

Canada is too soon. We're moving to Naples, FL at the beginning of July and I have a ton of stuff to do before the move.

FP2 just wrapped up.

Max
Lando
Lewis
Carlos
Bottas

The McLaren looks really good. Bottas called the car undriveable towards the end of the session.

Austin is probably your best bet with all things considered. Mexico probably has the best chance of allowing a full crowd though.

Lando very impressive.
Tsunoda impressive.

The overall tight field is good to see.

Haas is where everyone expected haas to be. DTS2021 should be entertaining. Guenther will be way up on F-bombs this season.

Agree on Tsunoda, very impressive start. Lando has shown flashes, hope he and DR can break away from the midfield and give us a Legit 3 team fight at the top.

Will Buxton
@wbuxtonofficial
For a guy who just finished P2 @LandoNorris couldn't sound less happy with a car. No confidence, balance all over the place, a heap of work to do... and he’s less than a tenth off P1. Downplaying reality or considerably more to come? Either way McLaren looking very good.

Mexico is insane. We planned to go last year again but they shut it down.

We have a pit connection so our experience is far more than a bleacher seat.

My AM gear gets delivered tomorrow. When I dropped my daughter off at day care saw a little boy in a RB t shirt. Glad to see little kids are interested in F1.

Def doing Austin this year and hoping SG is a go.

May try to hit Mexico or even Japan depending how things play out.

SG and Japan are back to back so can just jump up on the way back. Would be fing sweet.
