It's a champion mentality. He rattles of a few WDCs and his attitude will be criticized even more than it is now.
Hopefully he doesn't follow in the family business of beating women.

I think anyone who is a Hamilton fan says racing incident. Hamilton haters are going to say penalty.
I'm no HAM fan but it seemed like a racing incident to me. Either driver could have avoided it by doing something differently. That said, the onus is on the overtaking driver to make a safe pass so I guess I don't have a huge problem with it. One thing's for sure,it was a heck of a recovery drive coupled with some very good luck.

Someone elses comment,
Say what you will about the VER/HAM incident, at least it stopped everyone from discussing the sprint race.
Big fan of letting the teams choose whatever tire they want to start on. I don't think this race is a great example, but I think it could prove a good strategy twist.

You make it sound like Hamilton doesn't have a teammate who could repay Max in kind.
Bottas hates Ham and Mercedes leadership. That dude won’t be doing anything but cruising and taking a paycheck all year. No heavy lifting.

crowd view of Max coming in (youtube)
Holy shite the speed.

So what is the limit to use DRS? Is it within a specific time or whenever you want
Posted on 7/18/21 at 7:28 pm to sms151t
Have to be within a second of the car ahead (even if that means a lapped car). There is a detection line usually one turn before the DRS activation zone.
Once you cross the DRS line you are allowed to open the flap.
The flap stays open until you hit the brake or close it.
Yes. It is possible to close DRS and reopen it outside of the zone. IF you don't touch your brake. (Forgot the track that they do this on)

The stewards are covering for him, no doubt. Don't worry about the onboards, telemetry, other expert driver commentary that all counter your tinfoil theory.
Yeah, I'm sure they penalized him for doing nothing wrong.

Hamilton would hang out with Tom Cruise. He’s probably super tight with LeBron too.
But agree, Max is also a bitch, but a bad one at that. Will be interesting to see how he responds on track. Glad he’s not seriously hurt.
Was a shitty move by Hamilton but that is who he is and they don’t reward points for sportsmanship. He knows taking that risk is 100% worth it for him.
This makes things real spicy going forward. Me likey.

They didn't. They penalized him for causing a collision.
Nothing about this is intentional.

I stand corrected. Not drastically different, but it is there.

Damn. That's some speed. Barely missed the other barriers, too.

They weren't at the apex. Far from it.
Also, this:
Also, this:

Charles Leclerc admitted he ran wide at Copse when losing the British Grand Prix lead to Lewis Hamilton to avoid the same fate as Max Verstappen.

Leclerc also said no one was to blame and it was a racing incident. Said Lewis wasn't at the apex and Max was aggressive on the outside.
Granted, Leclerc isn't the strongest character witness for dangerous shite on the first lap.

HAM didn't do it on purpose
He did it 100% on purpose.
He went into that curve with too much speed and then never got ahead and just punted max.
He’s done it to Red Bulls before.
If this was the 1970s Max would kick his arse the next time he saw him.
Check that. Max would have been dead. That’s how stupid that was.

same reason Max weaved down the stretch and pinched him into the wall.
Y’all confusing max with Alonzo. Max got to the left and was still ahead.

But agree, Max is also a bitch
Max is an a-hole.
Ham is a bitch.
Christian and Max have a gripe. That was dangerous and very easily could have been serious injury causing.
You jackasses keep saying max and Lewis are alike but it’s been a damn long time since max has punted someone. Lewis does that shite all the time.
