Until there are professional stewards (won't ever happen) and a fixed set of penalties instead of this arbitrary bullshite no one will ever be happy with the result.

You were bitching about unfair advantages that Merc has with its engine and car when RB clearly had been better with that this year

I think anyone who is a Hamilton fan says racing incident. Hamilton haters are going to say penalty. It's closer to penalty for me, but I could go either way.

As a HAM fan I will say that the last couple of weeks were consistent in giving the penalty. 10sec is inconsistent, but that is typical for stewards.

Marko calling for a suspension is laughable.

Otmar summed it up perfectly, he said racing incident because Max could have given more room and Lewis could have turned in closer. Neither want to back down and someone was going to lose.

All you have to do is look at his line in that turn the rest of the race. He never took the line again that he did against Max.

You mean except when he passed Leclerc for the lead?

Remind me again how many times the leading car is allowed to move to cover a corner? Hamilton would be a full car length ahead by the time they reached the corner if Max hadn't been weaving all over the place. If anything Max should get a 5-place grid penalty for the next race.

I enjoy watching him drive bc he’s so talented

But he’s a bitch at times

A lot of the drivers can be when they are ultra competitive

And. Here. We. Go....

I will say, there is a really good chance that Lewis had no idea Max was in the hospital when he celebrated. Not that it matters for this bad blood now.

For those that care about the trivial stuff, Max's instagram account unfollowed Lewis. Max doesn't do his own social media so unclear what all that means. It is entertaining that Horner is playing up the near death plotline and Max is posting on social media from a hospital bed.

Meh, pretty sure it is his sister who does his social media (if not their relationship is really strange).

I get RBR being pissed about the situation. HAM didn't do it on purpose so any further action is unlikely. 2 more points on his license.

RBR will use this as fuel though. Need to make sure they don't go red fog over it though.

No, should have. If he was racing and taking the best racing line, he'd have stayed inside. Instead, he went wide to force Max off the track, or cause him to have to back off. Max didn't flinch (why would he when anyone would expect Hamilton to keep inside?) and Hamilton knocked him off. Most people agree with this.

Can you point to the rule that says Lewis has to take the apex? Lewis went in hot, understeered and missed the apex, no doubt. Went wide. Max still had room outside, but thought he had covered off Hamilton and moved to shut the door. Neither backed down. Hamilton was deemed to have caused a collision because he didn't back out. The resulting crash probably played far more into the final decision than it would have, also happening to the leader of that championship.

10 seconds for the result not for the incident, which is contrary to the rules, but as it usually is with stewards.

Why wouldn't he?

You're making stuff up.

Way wide, and it wasn't forced by understeer.

His goal is to pass Max not set the fastest lap time. Pretty obvious I thought.

And that would have happened if he'd gone inside. He was scared he might not keep it, obviously.

Possibly. The same reason Max weaved down the stretch and pinched him into the wall. You try to force an error, try to force your opponent into a bad position.

Hamilton had better runs off the previous 2 corners because he put Max into a unconventional spot.

Hamilton gave plenty of room to Max on the outside, but still drifted into him, looked like understeer to me. Maybe you have seen telemetry that shows Hamilton driving into Max. It is on Hamilton for going into the corner too hot and not being able to control the car when Max came across to shut the door on the inside.

Your theory that he turned into him seems much more likely.

The stewards are covering for him, no doubt. Don't worry about the onboards, telemetry, other expert driver commentary that all counter your tinfoil theory.

He shows similar traits as Hamilton honestly

He’s not some perfect saint in a battle of good vs evil
