Yeah they switch to Mercedes engines next year.

I'm happy anytime HAM gets penalized or doesn't finish 1/2 but I don't know how much of it was on him. I guess he could have tightened up his line some more but he didn't seem to push it wide into Albon either.

Glad we didn’t get a 1/2 from Merc.
Hopefully we get Ricardo and Max in the hunt next week. But barring some more craziness, it’s going to be Bottas and Ham 1/2 thanks to the technical advantage they have.

The only question is their gearbox. If it has to be replaced would they receive a penalty? In the past they would but I'm not sure about this shortened season.

Seemed a risky move for Albon. His youth showed. I was pulling for him to make it around.

Unfortunately, as long as he is with Renault, Ricciardo won’t be challenging for anything. He was solid when he was with Red Bull.

What a great way to start the season. Merc is going to be in trouble next week with those gearboxes.
Need to see more angles for a opinion on HAM. Assuming he didn't leave enough room since the stewards were pretty quick on the decision. Really sucks for Albon.
Danny has to be ready to leave Renault engines. They have haunted his career.

I overslept my alarm for the start of the race. Finally woke up around lap 40 to see a Merc 1-2, almost went back to bed. Glad I didn't.

I think he must not have left enough room and the way that the track width was disappearing on his left he kind of squeezed albon out.

Not a Hamilton hater but his move on Albon looked fishy.
