Never? In 1995 LSU would have been on that list.

Fulmar recruited distant west Tennessee well which was a vital pipeline. Theyve since had trouble. Memphis kids just as easy go to OM or State now

Fulmer landed blue chips from California and Hawaii. He recruited nationally.

Yeah dude.

UConn getting their heads smashed in by Creighton and Butler instead of Houston and South Florida will REALLY bring UConn back.

This isn't football.

Since 2000 LSU and Alabama are the only schools with 3 or more national championships but yeah we really "caught fire" in a sea of mediocre seasons.

6 active national championship coaches and 3 were coaching at LSU when they won it.

I’d say that’s pretty damn impressive.

Nebraska’s arguably recruited Florida, Miami area specifically, better than anybody the past 2 years

We flipped four Miami Hurricanes 4 star recruits last year. Have had 10 four stars from Florida the past few years. Pretty damn good for a dead program

A good coach?

Like I stated earlier, finished dead last in the Pac-10 in 2000, with no coach wanting the job.

3 years later, National Champs.

West Coast, Los Angeles, California recruits...USC is never out of it like a Nebraska and probably a Notre Dame which ceiling seems to just be really good.

An Urban Meyer could show up in L.A. and dynasty; it's USC, it's L.A. It ain't Lincoln.

Okay? You said you were recruiting the Miami area 'better than anyone" else and you clearly weren't.

So you flipped the Miami recruits in '19?Who?

This class. You can look them up. My point is Frost has roads into Florida and the south and has been bringing them up the past few years
ETA: Nebraska’s on life support, but a lot of southern US and FL talent has been coming in. What is your point?

Meaning your team will be average at best!

The program is still not going to be great again! Just going to be an average team.

Oklahoma, USC, and Texas do not belong on this list. OU came within an inch of making it to the national championship game in their OT loss to Georgia. Texas is recruiting well enough to eventually make it back to the big dance. USC has too many powerful and influential alumni to stay down forever.

1. Nebraska - likely, but I can actually see them at least competing for a division title, perhaps NY6/CFP every so often.

2. ND - they've been close, but I won't write them off 100%

3. OU - while we make fun of them for their championship/playoff bed shitting, they are always in the hunt. They shouldn't be on the list.

4. USC -I would've thought this was ridiculous a while back, but with how little their university gives a shite about football, that doesn't help. They are kind of a mess in the AD too. That's worse than having a bad coach.

5. Texas - I can see that program being in the NC.

Houston - I feel like Herman was where they topped out (they came close to being elite). They need another diamond HC and for the rest of the AAC to stop developing in order to return. I just don't see it.

Pittsburgh - the overall energy in the AD seems so dead compared to where it was.

BYU - Indy is just a weird spot in 2020. CFB needs to reformat first before they can contend again.

Oh come on...not even a single bite?

I guess the hook was way too shiny.
