doesn't matter. Won't change anyone's way of life, so it's meaningless.

You in Dallas, bro?

I’ve been itching to kick another Houston fan’s arse. Pitchers and catchers are reporting this week, just the type of spring training I need before the season starts.

imagine if you found out the patriots had cheated in a game featuring brandon weeden in the last year of his career.

would you look back and say, "wow the patriots are the reason brandon weeden isn't in the nfl anymore"

no, you wouldn't.

because that would be an absolutely retarded take.

Before this is over, pretty much nobody outside of Houston is going to consider that a real championship.

I mean... it's kind of already happened, especially with the findings coming out and then Hinch deferring the questions about cheating this past season. Astros probably win 2017 without cheating, but that doesn't matter at this point.

This is obviously ridiculous. But, this kind of stuff is just going to continue. Before this is over, pretty much nobody outside of Houston is going to consider that a real championship.

Who cares.

Not a single Astros fan cares what other people think. None. Zilch. Zero. The banner still sits in Minute Maid, the rings still exist as well.

I think a lot of baseball was jealous as frick of the Astros success, and the reaction to all of this makes it obvious.

he was the pitcher the Astros lit up for four runs, four hits and three walks in a third of an inning – 29 pitches, to be exact – in an Aug. 4, 2017, game in Houston.

bill burr has the best take on the astros, it was basically, "the red sox/yankees/dodgers/ have spent so long outspending everyone else that we don't look at it this way, but that's basically cheating. it gives one team a categorical advantage over the others - if I was a pirates fan I would be livid that we haven't been competitive in decades and no one cares enough to cheat"

This is the problem, because if anyone is an actual fan you should care.

There is not a single baseball fan that is jealous of a team with the best roster in the league that resorted to cheating to be sure they won.

You know it’s bad when a douche like me can even see that.

As a fan I cared at first and was severely disappointed, but the constant bitching and whining from the tampon crowd has made me stop caring.

They won’t but I wish we would embrace it and have a garbage can bobble head give away night or something

There is video evidence of the Astros beating their drums in the game in question. Bolsinger comes in down 7-2 in the fourth and gets shelled for four runs off of garbage can beats.

Next day gets designated for assignment and never pitches again in the MLB.

But yeah man, I guess he’s just being a bitch.

He pitched in 11 games that year.

His BEST outing was 5.2 IP with a 3.18 ERA.
Eras
3.18, 6.10, 6.32, 5.75, 5.61, 5.47, 5.68, 5.86, 5.59, 5.49, Astros-6.31.

He was 3-8 in this stretch.
Hardly the Astros fault he was reassigned.

He had an ERA over 6.00 for both of his final 2 seasons in MLB. Astros weren't the only ones lighting this guy up

Last I heard, MLB wasn't stripping their WS title.

I guess a bunch of pitchers from the 90's should sue for financial damages suffered from juiced up batters

I welcome a court fight.

Would open up to calling witnesses from many teams to prove that it was customary rather than one bad actor.
