They've been doing this for decades.

Brian Lazare said that Arizona has no interest in Leach. Could be a good sign for Tulane because it might mean that the bigger schools are going to blackball him.

No, we have not.

Some of you clowns need to actually listen to people who know a bit about what's going on rather than resorting to your bullshite.

tulane is not being sold as typical tulane...I think the interest they get is because they are telling candidates, 'we want to take on the big boys, and we're serious about our football program'

so they are lying?

better off lying to rich rod than mike leach I guess

cowen is getting really serious about this, I think he is no longer apathetic about tulane football...you don't spend 2 mil on a coach and raise a shitzillion dollars for a stadium unless you're committed to winning

I love your optimism but think you are flat wrong

unless things have dramatically changed in a month or two they are nowhere near the money it would take to even build a 25-30K stadium on campus (and still have basic issues like parking to deal with if they miraculously did come into that kind of money)

I didn't go to LSU or Tulane, but I'm a Louisiana sports fan. I'll cheer for almost any team in this state to do well.

I cheer for LSU, consider myself a fan, but I'm not fanatical.

I want Tulane to do well. I really want them to get a homerun hire. If they get a RR or a Leach, I'd watch on TV, and I might even go to a game or two to support them.

Tammy Nunez said multiple times that they are pretty close.

dumb people. Leach isn't some retread like toledo...he was always a winner. Texas Tech reached their football apex under leach, and had he continued a national title wasn't far down the road...

i is cited

FWIW, they never had parking for football at TU.

Nunez said 2 weeks ago they need less than 10 mill for the new stadium. I'm not saying everything we're hearing about the committment from the administration is true, but I think some people are just dismissing evidence because they havent been committed in the past.

would be a good hire. But he is not that good or he would have a job.

i think non-coaching reasons are why he doesn't have a job right now

he'll use tulane to rehab his image and as a stepping stone back to a legit BCS school
