We can do this same calculation for each signal-caller in each week of this season.

Screw all this analytics shite. He played the team that was on the schedule and absolutely torched them.

Hell, if the article was solely that, maybe they could make decent points.

But if your scoring system has Burrow having the worst drop out of all QBs after that performance, no one will care nor should they care about anything else you say on the subject until that issue is addressed.

Also, at what point when talking about how Burrow has absolutely torched BAL twice and they're such a terrible defense do you have to factor in just how terrible they are because of Burrow? For example, BAL has given up 28 pass TDs this season, 3rd most. 8 of those have been given up to Burrow, or 29% of their TD passes in 15 games at the hands of 1 QB.

All of this. There has to be a "break even" point that's less than all time records, because they are NFL players.

Exactly

I feel like a lot of folks fall into a trap that if you play poor competition, that player and/or team are automatically overrated. That's not necessarily the case.

It's absolutely important to call out things like schedule strength, but a poor schedule doesn't magically mean you're overrated, not if you take care of business against those poor teams.

Burrow played an awful defense yesterday. Burrow did exactly, and above and beyond, what a good QB should do against an awful defense. It can't logically be argued that he'd have the largest decrease in QB score after that performance, there's just zero logic to that.
