I’m referring to Tedford about 12-15 years ago. Especially at Cal. Very hot name.

Not sure if Tedford belongs with the others in this discussion. His decline at Cal was more gradual.
Plus he just won 12 games and the MWC title at Fresno last year.

Will Muschamp, from the top DC in college football, to mac browns replacement, to Urban meyer's successor, to an 8 win guy with anger issues at South Carolina.

Did Curley Hallman get relieved of his duties as a high school coach some time after leaving LSU?

He got Cal about as far as that program could possibly get. They were a fingertip away from playing Oklahoma in the BCSCG in 2004 and then they were ranked #2 in 2007 until their QB got hurt. You can only get so far at Cal and he got way up the mountain at that program

A good spinoff would be how many schools over the last 20 years have produced a better NFL trio than Cal. Rodgers, Lynch, Jackson. Pretty elite for Berkeley.

You mean as NFL players or college guys?

Only offense? Because SC can probably do same in 80’s and 00’s on Defense
I think the 80 SC team had 7 All Pro’s on it and 3 HOF’s
Lott
Smith
Banks
Allen
Mosebar
Van Horne
Matthews

The threads about falling down the coaching ladder. Not names that aren't as hot for new jobs as they used to be.

I almost forgot Charlie Wies was offensive coordinator at Florida in 2011. Fat Charlie sat on the sideline in his black shirt while LSU beat them so badly the punter was getting unsportsmanlike penalties.

Michel
Chubb
Gurley
All three scored a TD last week. That’s probably the best RB trio.
