Jimbo has a cattle ranch now, I don't think he has any interest in coaching again.

Nothing gets down on a permanent basis with out an AD in place.

Feels like it's been about forty years since FSU football was relevant. Same with the Gators, but nowhere near as bad.

Look for Dillingham to be a name for FSU. Dan Mullen might also be involved here.

So half a dozen years lets hire him.

His buyout is pretty cheap after Dec 1st but he was slow playing better jobs this past offseason. Maybe another year hitting his head on ASU's ceiling changes that.

Mullen just got his shite pushed in by what was left behind at North Texas. He might coach himself out of a quick move back up.

Florida State would be wise to hire Brian Kelly. Having most of his salary be paid by his LSU buyout would give them the money to buy out Norveil.

I was about to say they should hire Brian Kelly, but as a joke. Your idea isn’t bad. He’s not terrible, but not elite either. He would probably do well at FSU, with occasional games against ND. Miami and Florida would probably be automatic losses, but everyone else in the ACC isn’t great. He wouldn’t be going against an SEC schedule for sure.

I hate this administration

I don't know what kind of reputation Warchant TV has, but I was listening to their postgame after the SMU game just to hear their thoughts about Norvell and the lights issue.

I thought they were joking when they mentioned the possibility of Jimbo returning, but one of the older hosts said the fans they'd heard from were 50/50 on wanting him back, which shocked me.

I'm guessing this idea isn't totally out of the blue if fans were already discussing it.

I don't know if he still has it but he's been back in Tally for a while now.

Jimbo would be a terrible hire

Florida state can pay Jimbo 1$ and tamu just has to sit there and take it because of no mitigation or offset clause.

If fsu tried to outlandishly under pay Kelly LSU would be able to litigate
