The punch is inexcusable but like everything I don’t judge every event the same

1. Miami player congratulating Indiana players and then loses his cool when some guy keeps harassing him

Vs

2. Over emotional Miami player going out looking for confrontation

Both should be disciplined, but I don’t view those the same and would think most agree

Mendoza is from Miami and is almost the same age as Fletcher. They looked like they knew each other. They probably came up playing against one another. I dont think this has anything to do with the other situation.

Fletcher is going to the NFL. He'll get punished by sliding a bit in the draft..

Odd move by Fletcher because he's such a class act, which makes me think that guy from Indiana talked a little too much shite and crossed the line. Notice how he talks shite, then immediately backs away smiling. That guy was talking mad shite all game long and appears to have followed Fletcher after the game and ran his mouth. I think that guy #96 was the one roughing up Fletcher on the ground in the 2nd qtr.

Fletcher should've kept his cool but people calling him a thug for that refuse to acknowledge there's another side to this story.

Classless act by a couple of sore losers. The punch thrown and their pouting QB leaving the field making a beeline for the locker room instead of meeting up with the opposing team players and showing a bit of class even in a loss.

No mention of the Indiana player following Miami players and running his mouth instead of celebrating with his teammates? That guy was being a POS all game, including trying to hit Fletcher in the balls in the 2nd qtr when he was already down.

Let's ignore that guy being more interested in showing how big of a douche he is instead of celebrating with his team.

The "punch" shouldn't have been thrown but people like you only look at this one-sided.

This is the only part we have video of.

Did you see a clip of this somewhere? I can't imagine IU guy following Fletcher around the field after the game just to talk shite.

The NFL commissioner but Goodell isn’t the commissioner of college football and the NFL isn’t going to fine a player for stuff that happened in college.

The ACC commissioner isn’t going to fine him because well why would they? They have no ability to enforce it for a guy leaving for the Draft.

The NCAA isn’t going to do it because see above and that opens a massive can of worms they don’t want to deal with.

That is the team who, on the sideline, flaunted a cokehead former player who nearly killed a teammate when he stabbed him in the neck and who is accused in multiple sexual assaults and another. involved in a double homicide. They FEATURED these alums.

Looks like the Indiana player was directly taunting him. Even then, you have to keep your composure and not respond.
