I guess you never know but I do not see the Thunder being very good.

nate is just factoring in the fact that OKC now has one of the top PGs in the NBA

This seems really questionable. All three of these teams have some serious holes

OKC's starting 5 looks pretty solid, but the bench is quite thin. Most everyone around here thinks Gallinari, Adams, and Schroder will be traded midseason though so I would doubt playoffs. And they'll get rid of Paul as soon as they can find a trade partner.

Starting 5 currently:

Paul
Gilgeous-Alexander
Ferguson
Gallinari
Adams

Solid roster

CP3
SGA
Galo
Adams
Shroeder

Good chance they trade some of these guys, though.

Yup
With Danilo looking to get another contract they should be decent. They can be a playoff team

They have pretty much no bench and Chrissy is extremely brittle.

Just because that starting five looks good doesn’t mean they will have many minutes together.

Only reason I am not doubting the Mavs is that there is no telling how good KP is when he plays.

He could have issues due to his injury or he could blow the doors off everyone.

OKC is a tougher sell due to a lack of depth and banged up stars while the Wolves have a black hole on the floor in Wiggins.

So the Mavs are projected to finish with a better record than all but 2 teams in the East.

Of course. Injuries always play a factor, and both CP3 and Galo have an injury history you can’t trust.

At full strength, though, not a bad team at all. Could actually be pretty good.
