I didn't care about Favre last year and I still don't care. I hope he throws 7 interceptions at Lambeau this year.

And Aaron had a better year than most of the QBs in the league. I think his stats were like 28 TDs/13 INTs 4000 yards and 64% completitions.

Rodgers proved almost as many people wrong as Matt Ryan did.

Rogers was solid, but he also had probably the 3rd or 4th best WR corps in the NFL.

And also a sub-par starting RB and a trash defense.

Plus, that was his first year as a starter.

Rodgers EASILY proved that not letting Favre back for the Packers was definitely the better decision.

That's really not debateable.

For a 1st year starter, what he did was better than solid. He was pretty much a top 5 QB last year, or damn close to it.

Even after Brett's awesome 07 season too (where he could have won a 4th MVP had a certain someone not assraped everyone through the air), I know Aaron was the way to go.

Just the glimpes of him against the Cowboys in Dallas showed that he could step up. I'm looking forward to building around he and Greg.

Favre was one my all time favorite players. I accepted all the BS about his retiring/unretiring and I even took his side when the Pack told him they were moving on.

But I can honestly now say I hate the guy and hope he has a terrible season to further tarnish his legacy. Leaves the Pack and then comes back to a division rival two years later? GFY Brett Favre.

He wants to play football. So what? It's not his fault ESPN sends a camera up his arse every second of the day. If there wasn't so much media coverage on this bullshite, you wouldn't care.
