VIII were my favorites as a kid. I bought a pair recently for nostalgia and to occasionally wear. Jeez i forgot how heavy shoes where back then. How the hell did they play in those shoes.

I could have sworn I had the VIIs in black and blue, but google tells me that I am wrong. Looks like it was the VI that I had.

The IVs are the ones where Jordan’s became what we think of as Jordan’s. That was the year I remember them going mainstream. All of a sudden it wasn’t just r&b guys and rappers wearing them. Like every eighth grader had a pair.

i think the III were the first really popular model, and the IV took it to the next level.
