Nico's growing frustration with being told he's not permitted to race Hamilton.

Probably because Nico had the habit of crashing into Hamilton when they were allowed to race.

If you're talking about Spain, I wouldn't put that on Rosberg. Hamilton was outdriven at the start and got too aggressive trying to retake.

I'm a Ferrari guy. I thought it was glorious.

Was confirmed Nico was in the wrong mode and HAM passing him was inevitable. Nico knew that and closed the window to force HAM to try and hard brake or go off the track.

Also in Austria when Rosberg decided to take a left onto the old track instead of the right where the rest of the GP was going.

Rosberg needed team orders in Abu Dahbi in order to win the world championship.

Not really. Mercedes was mad because they both crashed and was pissed that Hamilton wasn't let through as usual.

Right. He had a choice. He made the wrong one.

HAM faster, confirmed. Nico left no room by pushing him off track.

Well, yeah. It was pretty well known the team faulted Nico and Niki made some comments that Lewis shouldn't have gone for it at that point despite being faster.

This was my first F1 race to attend, and damn it was great. Turn 15 gave us exciting action all weekend long. Watching Bottas go at Hamilton on the back straight was amazing.

How do the cars sound in person?

Not too loud, but it was cool to see how they changed based on how hard they were pushing them. The honda's have a ridiculously throaty sound. Hard braking on the back straight into turn 12 was awesome sounding as well. Turbo spooling down quickly.

The Toro Rosso's sounded really different last year. Imagine the Red Bull sounds the same now.

Who is the next to jump to Honda? Force India kind of makes sense.

I went to all the US GPs when they were at Indianapolis. Hearing those V10 scream at 20,000 RPM is without a doubt the coolest sound I've ever heard.

Wish I could have experienced that. That being said hotels already booked for Canada, US, and Mexico 2020! Seriously thinking about Vietnam as well.

The only F1 race I've attended was the 2000 USGP. Hearing those buzzin hornets screaming down the front straight canyon was intense. Those frequencies weren't safe for the ears.

What’s strange to me is people complaining about the current F1 car sounds (which compared to the V10s, I get it), but CART had the turbo V6s and they sounded great back around 95-2000. Apparently the current F1 engine sound like angry vacuum cleaners though.

ETA: current INDYCAR turbo V6 sounds pretty good too FWIW

They have that hollow exhaust note like a rice rocket. At least that's my impression from TV. The V10s just screamed.

On Wednesday, according to a report from the always well-informed Tobi Grüner from Auto Motor und Sport, the FIA issued another technical directive (TD 38/19), this time addressing the potential illicit use of flammable liquid in an engine's cooling system, insisting that the liquid cannot be used for combustion to increase performance

According to Christian Horner, Ferrari is back to form on the straights.

Horner: "Ferrari is back to gaining .7 seconds a lap on the straights"

Karun: "Isn't that massive for such a short lap?"

Horner: "yep"

Damn, Max on pole.

If he comes out of the Senna S in the lead, he's got a good chance to win. Albon in P6 is pulling his weight as usual. He should be more competitive next year.

Yup, glad the mercedes are back a bit. Not that it means anything.

Just want someone other than Hamilton to win.

And hopefully next years rules level the playong field a bit. Mclaren seems to be coming on strong.

I have a feeling max will frick it up somehow. He'll probably end up in the barriers by the 2nd lap.
