Right now it's more important to laugh at your take that you shouldn't move down as much because you already lost to them before.

You've already shown you have zero concept how rankings work so I look forward to your reaction next week.

I already explained that if it's a close game they could even move up to #6.

How do the tie-ins to the Fiesta and Peach Bowl work in regards to the seeding? I read an article earlier and it was a little confusing, basically saying that Ohio St. would not be matched up against Georgia (if they make it) in the Peach Bowl due to home field advantage.

For example, is it as simple as the 1/4 game is the Peach and the 2/3 is the Fiesta? Or not that simple?

The whole system is absurdly dumb. There is absolutely no way these 13 people watch more than 1-2 college football games a week (I am being generous), much less dig into it enough to form legit opinions. Posters on this site do more research than these clowns. You think Frank beamer has a GD clue at whats going on?

They need to completely reform the committee with let's say 5 legit people. Someone like herbstreet, 2 experts from vegas, etc etc. 5 people that live and breathe college football taht can put aside bias. Or get rid of the committee altogether and use the BCS formula.

This committee exists for one reason and its to generate buzz and ratings.

Pretty sure he can only watch one, maybe two games a week since he commentates a game every week

Pretty sure he probably watches quite a few games. He does commentate one per week, but he has to talk about several. His prep each week also probably helps him get caught up on a lot of the games that happen earlier in the year.

Cincinnati is the only thing I hard agree with here. They shouldn't even be in the top 25. ULL should be ranked ahead of them tbh

But I bet the coaches poll is legit when it fits your chosen narrative, amiright?

Wait, are you telling me the female marketing and journalism professor from ASU isn't a college football expert?

Plausible, but putting herbie on that committee is asking for a meltdown from fans because he is an OSU alum

The coaches poll is so irrelevant it shouldn't even be mentioned, but nice straw man.

The Cincy situation is a perfect example of the committee ranking however the frick they want, and then backing into the reasoning. Sometimes they throw out stats, sometimes it's the eye test. The chair literally brought up OSU having 4 Top 25 wins against 3 for LSU. That's fine, but you're telling me that the committee thinks a home win against Cincy is more impressive than the road win against then Top 10 Texas.. before injuries... on the road. They have no interests in the eye test or common sense when it doesn't support their arbitrary rankings.

Those saying "win it on the field" are absolutely right but let's not sit here and act like having to play Clemson in the semi isn't a huge disadvantage. This stupid crap matters, unfortunately.

This is like the 10th thread complaining about Wiskys ranking.

Who gives where anybody is ranked outside the top 4?

LSU doesn't want to play Clemson so they think if Flowida was in UW's spot their SOS would bump them over OSU into #1.
