Why did this turn into a weird thread, OP had some good points. I dont love the prayer beforehand but otherwise solid. Also, hilarious abt the MT announcer and Californians.

In movies, yea. In real life it’s a bunch of extremely homely looking women. Good people, but homely

Don't you have Funko figurines to go masturbate over? Let the adults talk in peace.

Still am butthurt my parents didn’t push me more towards the sport. You can make good cash too.
Also just noticed this. That’s like saying

“Wish I was in a pyramid scheme. You can make good cash”

Rodeo is a financial drain on 99.99% of its participants.

Then tell them and the media to quit slinging it in front of people that just want to watch them play the game.

What are you arguing?
I wasnt arguing anything. Someone who had no idea what they were talking about commented on the crowd at a rodeo event. I described the crowd to him at the event I attended as average Joes, then you responded to me going off on a tangent about athlete’s political leanings and name calling.

don’t know why you replied to me with regards to any of this. I never mentioned any of that.

Might want to look into the anthem-kneeling WNBA player and the lack of support she's getting from the American public, and reconsider that statement.

Yeah after attending a rodeo, it left me wondering how expensive it must be for the contestants that have to trailer a horse all around the western US.

I can honestly say in conversation, "this isn't my first Rodeo" because I've been to one.

As a kid while in Jackson Hole, WY. Funnest, maybe most interesting sporting event I've ever been to. Even got to run in the outdoor arena and try to catch the slick piggies.

Everyone was so friendly and genuine...opposite of NFL games.

I wish I had been old enough to have a beer.

If you’re at the top. Everyone else loses money

Horses, feed, entry fees, diesel, travel and much more

It’s a hobby for 95% of people. I’ve done it

These guys get some sponsorship to cover a portion of those loses, right? I'm always amazed that the pro bowlers are able to cover travel and expenses - it's pretty much a hobby/second job to them too, but Storm/Brunswick/Radical/etc all throw a couple of bucks for the bowlers to wear a big ol logo on their shirts

Go to the LRCA schedule. Quite a few now through the end of September. Then the finals in Shreveport, November.
