I remember why it’s the greatest sport there is.

Every rodeo you go to starts with a prayer, the national anthem, and full of people showing appreciation for our great country.

There’s no drama, no bs just a lot of people who’ve worked their arse off and are grateful to be there. The rodeo clown makes all kind of jokes but somehow nobody gets offended.

It’s a great sport with some tough sob’s and some amazing animals. Everybody is for each other, even down to the bull fighters who put themselves at risk for very little pay to help these guys.

Rodeo is the greatest American sport!

Last one I went to in Montana a couple weeks ago the broadcaster called out the Californians in the audience. He told them to stand up and told them, “welcome to America, this is what it looks like.”

Nothing like paying homage to a make-believe deity before engaging in some animal abuse. Sounds like a hoot.

The aliens are laughing at you monkeys.

The irony of that statement is that the people I saw there as a whole seem like the most normal, down to Earth, hardworking, tax-paying, job holding, family oriented type of individuals there are. There were a lot of father-son and father-daughter duos in the team events. Didn’t notice any alphabet people, or clown haired, anti-American Antifa, thug or lowlife types in the bunch.

It was the only rodeo Ive ever been to so can’t speak for all of them but they also went out of their way to not harm any of the animals when they were in danger. Broadcaster pointed it out several times throughout when they could’ve been hurt.

Well it's bulls and blood
It's dust and mud
It's the roar of a Sunday crowd
It's the white in his knuckles
The gold in the buckle
He'll win the next go 'round
It's boots and chaps
It's cowboy hats
It's spurs and latigo
It's the ropes and the reins
And the joy and the pain
And they call the thing rodeo

Anyone who cares about any of this over entertainment when it comes to watching sports is a loser.

With any player on my favorite teams, I could not care less about their political leanings, their family life, or what they look like. As long as they are fun to watch and make my team fun to watch, that's all that matters.

Trying to attribute morality and ethics to fricking sports is always a hilarious practice when we only care about them because of what they do on a field or court.

It's the exact opposite of a high horse, it's me literally not caring about people outside of their entertainment value.

But continue being triggered by crowds I guess.

I had a good friend Lib say F Rodeos on my Instagram story when I shared some of the FW Stock Show and rodeo, I refuted with several logical points step by step and no joke she said sorry did not realize all that. Some of my points generally were how at that level of rodeo the animals are treated better than your average farm animals, the stock show and rodeo provided scholarships and opportunities in the ag community, this is how many people in America actually make a living (ag economy), and if she ever ate meat she had to stfu.
