You've never been to a patriots game in your life. That's horrific

I moved down here when I was eleven from New Hampshire and we used to go to a ton of Red Sox games every year, but Foxboro at the time would have drunken morons pissing into sinks and getting plastered in the stands.

So, in short, frick off with your idiotic argument that never going to an actual game makes me less of a fan.

Wait.

Like what?

What are you weirded out about in this game?

I like the Saints in these playoffs. Most fun team in the league.

Y'all gotta stop melting. I feel like neutral fans have more faith in y'all than y'all do..

That game was still the Saints yo win at the end. Had they protected the football in the end zone.

Exactly. If I were a Falcons fan I would be embarrassed at the shear fact that the Saints had seven injured starters, an inordinate amount of penalties that resulted in a 23-point swing, and they still should have won if Brees doesn't make a bad throw. An absolute stacked deck, and they still could/should have lost.

And the Falcons lost 10 points due to 2 horrendous throws by Ryan. Those weren't forced INTs. What's your point?

Wonderful glossing over the entire point of my post. The injuries to starters and the enforcement of penalties shifted the game. The interception at the end of the half doesn't happen if the NFL doesn't call a timeout for the Falcons, so the point total is now 7, and if Ryan throws the ball away on the third pick it's now fourth down, so it was a 3 point swing, maybe six if with 11 seconds and still not set Atlanta can get 5 yards and get a timeout before time expires to lineup for a long attempt.

Both QBs made decisions that cost their team points, agreed. Atlanta was still fortunate to not lose a game where a 23 point swing on penalties, the OROY doesn't even play a full series, and six other starters for their opponent were injured all in their favor at home.

My takeaway from this game is that if New Orleans can get healthy the rest of the league is fricked.

LOL...wut?

enforcement of penalties

So you are saying the refs shouldn't enforce penalties when they occur? Maybe the roughing was a BS call, but a lot of those defensive holdings were legit and why your "shutdown corner" was able to keep Julio somewhat in check.

I'm 1-0 this week in my pick 'em league, and the Saints are still in control and leading the division. I assure you your brilliant debate and witty rhetoric unfortunately has missed it's mark.

Enjoy the win, but I would be concerned if I was a Falcons fan, Saints fans just need to hope their team gets healthy.

It does. You're the worst type of NFL fan....never been to a game in your life but hey..."I'm a die hard patriot fan.

You're the prototypical bandwagon fan. If new England stunk....you would be nowhere near letting anyone know that's "your team"

It’s so easy for the falcon fans and the other fans to point and laugh at saint fans right now, I get that...

But to say that something just wasn’t right about last night is intellectually dishonest

I don’t really know any other way to explain it
