So how do you feel about the course setup? The course looks AMAZING. Not sure how I like the rough for a Ryder Cup. I feel like it'll keep some of the drama down as holes are won and lost off the tee much more often than they usually would be.

Yeah one of the golf writers on twitter suggesting that we’ll see quite a few fist bumps for par

Like the course. Didn't watch as much of the French this year as I would have liked. Driver will be almost entirely out of play in foursomes, but it will be interesting to see how aggressive people are in four ball.
Think the course definitely favors the European as it's not the bomb and gouge style of golf that we see so much in the US now, but we fortunately have the more talented team.

Definitely favors the Europeans but this is the second-best American team that we've ever fielded. If we can't win this week, then frick me.

I believe they've made changes to all 18 holes to one extent or another. And yes, it definitely favors the Europeans with with the slower greens and whatnot.
This rough though, man. About 3 yards off the fairway and they'll be REALLY struggling to reach a green. Might not even be an option. 10 yards off the fairway and you're in real danger of never seeing your golf ball again.
This weekend might make Hazeltine look like a different game. Making bombs for birdies to win holes will turn into scrambling for pars to win them this year.

Europe wind handily. The course is a joke Of a setup. 18.5 to 10.

I keep hearing it’s not bomb and gouge, Euro advantage but there are similar setups and I don’t see them outperforming so I’m not buying it. I do think it will force furyk to limit Phil in team play and be really careful in the foursomes format with pairings, but I don’t see any advantage for the euros once they peg it

So a lot of these guys just had not played against me yet. When my game is there I feel like I’ve always been a tough person to beat. They have jokingly been saying, ‘We want to go against you.’ All right. Here you go.
