People incorrectly assume Redick is intelligent because he’s a white guy in a predominantly black industry and went to Duke. Truth is that he’s just another dumb jock.

I think it's more believable that JJ Redick went to Delgado rather than Duke. That fricking stupid mother fricker has rocks for brains.

He’s basically saying a company has no authority to levy punishment on an employee unless he breaks the law. In reality, 99% of infractions that get employees suspended or terminated do not involve breaking any laws.

I’ve spent too much time reading baseball threads on the rant and this is the dumbest shite I’ve read all day. What a ridiculous comparison

“There’s no consequences to that, so why are we trying to lay down the hammer on a 23-year-old who didn’t break a law?! Explain that to me!”

“I’m not saying there should be no punishment. There should be consequences. You are the face of the league. You are representing the NBA. You are a role model to young kids. All of that.
Well which one is it JJ?

He makes a good point.
I'm all for punishing people who commit no gun crimes and letting those that do off with community service.

“We’ve got mass shooting after mass shooting and nobody’s doing a damn thing about it, so I get why everyone is sensitive right now,” Redick said. “But there’s no consequence for this for Greg Abbott telling his constituents that they should go buy more guns, and then we have mass shooting after mass shooting in Texas. There’s no consequence for an elected Tennessee official to send out a Christmas card holding AR-15s with his young family, and then there’s a shooting in his very district.
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL He'd fit in with the other Loony Head Coaches.
I noticed he never mentioned all of the shootings in inner cities by African Americans, which happen way more than any gun toting white, ar15 carrying xmas cards.

If you're an idiot that doesn't understand context maybe.

I'm going to go out on a very, very tiny limb and say muzzle flashing people in a car is probably illegal.

JJ has been trying to out woke himself the last couple of years in hope of landing an NBA job

JJ Redick should be suspended the same amount of time Ja should, because of his enabling, pro-criminal bullshite he is preaching.

MSB favorite Cowherd made a great point today about this and how something doesn’t have to be illegal to get you in hot water with your employer. Being on Onlyfans is not illegal. Being on Onlyfans when your day job is a school teacher is probably going to get you fired.

Maybe Ja broke a law, maybe he didn't. I think that is irrelevant.
Ja got in trouble for doing hoodrat shite. His employer told him that if he wanted to keep his very lucrative job, then he needed to stop doing hoodrat shite.
But Ja turned around and decided to do hoodrat shite anyway. I don't give 2 flying fricks about splitting hairs to determine if it was "legal" or not.
Play hoodrat games; win hoodrat prizes.

What did he do? Just take a picture with a gun?
Posted on 5/17/23 at 11:17 pm to SPEEDY
He's reaching... The display of the gun was in a public place and he got suspended for that... Then the fricker does it again...

Obviously, he is virtue signaling to the woke crowd in order to help his coaching career but he is right about it being stupid to suspend people for entire seasons for something if it happened in their personal life and wasn't illegal. Its crappy and the advertisers should drop him but the league should stop worrying about offending people so much.

The griz aren’t telling him to not own guns. They are telling him don’t film yourself being stupid with it.
If I show up to work with a pistol on my side, they might fire me they might ask me not to do that again. I bring my gun concealed and put it in my desk or something and they don’t have an issue.
This isn’t a gun rights issue. It’s an employer asking and employee to stop embarrassing it by being stupid.
