ESPN is complete garbage on every level. All the things people don’t like about modern sports ESPN had a major hand in.

I don’t understand the point being made here. They’re saying roughing the passer started getting called more when black quarterbacks started getting drafted? And they’re insinuating that’s a bad thing? Someone help me out here.

Don’t ask the two people the OP was talking about. They’re too stupid to defend their position.

Not unreasonable to think. The NBA was way too black. The rule changes allowed for European whites to actually compete in the NBA.

Europeans were always seen as soft and finesse. The NBA removed the physicality and now European players are amongst the best in the entire league.
And the league is not as fun to watch.

European guys like Dirk, Peja, Drazen Petrovic, Pau, and Tony Parker came in and played by NBA rules, against some great NBA defenders.

Now they all get too many easy baskets, and are babies.

People thought the NBA was too Black in the 50's and 60's. That's why playoff games were replayed on a network late at nightback then.

I'm a 64 year old guy that grew up in Mississippi and Louisiana. I don't know a single person that ever said the NBA was too Black until the 2020 season, the bubble and BLM hit.

Why is everything about race ? Who cares if there are 16 black starting quarterbacks ? Is there suppose to be a quota in sports leagues ? Just give me the best athletes at each position.

I think they’re trying to claim that roughing the passer helps slow, immobile white QBs. The defenses got faster to match the athletic ability of the black quarterback, so the league implemented rules that allowed slow white dudes to survive in the backfield and remain the face of the league.

But I don’t speak retard, so I might be wrong.
