Your friends should have beat the shite out of you for picking OddJob in the first place. Everyone knows that he's off limits.

ESPN is not and never has been channel purely about sports.

Damn son ESPN already wrote a story about the Jordan of LoL. His name is Faker.

The Unkillable Demon King.

Regardless of your position on LoL the story is quite well written and worth a read.

I look forward to Jemel Hill's commentary that there's not enough African Americans playing League of Legends.

Even worse, the lack of AA coaches are disproportionate to their makeup of the players in the league.

Can't wait to see victorious fat guys with neck beards and asians spraying each other with Mt Dew before their mom picks them up from the tourney.

Gamers today are soft. Some of you young bucks don't remember Goldeneye in the 90s. Now that was real gaming, it actually took heart and drive

But seriously, people who weren't alive to see someone play Pong live don't know what they're missing. Give the best Pong players access to modern training and joysticks and they'd dominate. Even the Oregon Trail era shits on modern gamers. Now you can't hardly breathe on another player without getting a foul called.

Just curious if the people opposed to this also don't like poker being on ESPN.

Oh they do. I just had that thought about how different the championship celebrations will be vs real sports.

There are streamers who make more than the minimum NFL salary. Some topping up to over a million from the rumors I have heard

Good business decision on paper. Hundreds of new sponsors will be lining up for ad time. Completely new demo groups will tune in.

ESPN had to do something drastic to stop hemorrhaging money.

While this likely won't be popular with existing fans...there isn't a viable alternative at this point for them to go to.

ESPN betting FOX doesn't get a substantial following on FS1.

Tom Rinaldi will do a story on a kid that had to over come the difficulties of playing LoL on dial up.
