Had high expectations for this one but felt it was kinda flat and boring

From the clip of Dr. Z slamming the pic, Marino had 17 Td's and 23 Int's? Damn

You should watch the 30 for 30 on the Colts leaving Baltimore to see what it was like during that period with Irsay

Frank Kush, the head coach wasn't a moron, but his coaching style didn't work in the NFL. Elway wasn't going to play for him.

Yea, that or the fact that he's one of the most selfish players to ever play the game and never cared about anything but his stats

I've read a lot of opinions about Dan Marino, but this is easily the silliest thing I've ever seen.

Best QB ever may be up for debate. But this is not. The discussion starts at second best after Dan Marino.

When you couldn't win ONE Super Bowl -- you aren't even in the discussion.

He only made one Super Bowl, and that was when he was extremely young and just wing in it because he didn't know what the f*ck he was doing. Don Shula just spoon fed it to him and his center had to tell him what to do on plays. Once he supposedly "got" the game, he never even sniffed a Super Bowl ring.

There are at least 7-10 QBs I'd take over Dan Marino.

You couldn't even take the time to read the one line you quoted.

Go back and read genius.

who was his supporting cast? Elway didn't win super bowls until he was 50 and Terrell Davis ran for 200 yards a game.

this 30 for 30 sucked.

I was expecting more. I did like hearing John Elway back in the day and his feelings on going to the Colts. Damn he was a prick. wow.

What I didn't know then, there being no internet and me being some dunce kid in Butt fricking Egypt, was that Marino had been a huge cokehead at Pitt. THAT, not his injury, had made teams shy away from him.

Wait, seriously? A cokehead goes to Miami and there's no problem? Isn't that like sending a sex addict to the Playboy Mansion?

If Marino was a better QB, his defense wouldn't have given up over 530 yards and 38 points before the 4th quarter even started in the one Super Bowl he did make

Ken O'Brien pick was a head scratcher. Steelers fans have to look back on that draft as a huge missed opportunity as well.

It's one thing for Elway to be a bitch in 1983, but in the modern day interviews, him calling the Colts move out of Baltimore to be satisfying just made me want to punch him in the face. He helped murder the Baltimore Colts, and he practically bragged about it.

I hope he gets hit by a bus.

(Though Irsay was an insane, drunk crazy person. But the Elway trade was close to the straw that broke the camel's back -- Irsay moved the team the next offseason)

All I've gotten from this so far is that elway was a huge bitch.
How big of a bitch was Bo Jackson? He used the same tactic with Tampa Bay.

Tampa Bay screwed themselves by trying to push Bo into a corner.

How was Baltimore's behavior any different in the case of Elway? Elway let them know well in advance he would not play for them. Baltimore had better offers for Elway than what they got from Denver, they turned them down. They could have traded the draft pick for Elway and drafted Marino even at the 26th pick. Baltimore had many ways out, but Irsay refused to consider them.
