And as such, my childhood hero and favorite football player of all time is gone.

Thanks for the memories, Eli. Enjoy retirement.

Chance that he is doing commentary for a network versus doing some sort of commentary with his brother?

I’m not opposed to Eli staying around the game in some capacity, but it wouldn’t surprise me if he walked away cleanly from football for a few years.

What a whimper to go out on for one of the top quarterbacks of the past 15+ years.

Won 100% of every Super Bowl he played in

Super Bowls lost

Peyton - 2
Brady -3

Eli > Peyton > Brady

Because he's better than Drew Brees.

Everyone remembers the helmet catch, but people don't usually think about how Eli escaped an almost certain sack before making that throw.

eta: Wish I could find a better quality.

Won twice as many Super Bowls as
Aaron Rodgers
Brett Favre
And Drew Brees

Eli > Rodgers > Favre > Brees
