How did he win 2 SB's?

He was more important for his two than Peyton was.

Peyton was top 5 at his position for most of his career. Eli was never top 5. Shouldn’t even be considered for the HoF

Who said anything about the HoF?
And he's gonna get easy so that's just a pointless argument.

but people don't usually think about how Eli escaped an almost certain sack before making that throw.

Oh being in NY.
More people talk about the escape than the catch
Eli Manning is literally on the level of Derek Jeter here

Eli should be this generation’s Jim Plunkett... first overall pick, won two SBs, no HOF.

IMO he doesn't deserve the HOF,but will get in just cause his name is Manning.

same way Terry Bradshaw won. He had some elite defenses.

Chance that he is doing commentary for a network versus doing some sort of commentary with his brother?

Eli sounds like a retard when he talks. He has too large of a tongue or has too much saliva or something. He would be terrible as a commentator. Plus he's made more money than anyone in football history. Why do it.

Plunkett never went to a pro bowl and had three dozen more interceptions than touchdowns in his career

His throw down the sideline to Manningham in the second Super Bowl is one of the most impressive throws I’ve ever seen.
