How did he win 2 SB's?

Incredible luck.

A play or two before that "helmet catch", he served up an easy interception that the Patriot CB dropped that would have ended the game. Hell, on the "helmet catch" he made a good scramble, but the throw was just hoping.

In that second SB, reliable Patriot receiver Wes Welker dropped a very catchable ball late that would have ended things.

Brady must have wanted to puke losing two SBs to a decent, but not truly great QB, like Eli.

Go ahead and down vote, but it's the truth.

If his last name was jones or smith, he would not be getting in. He is a .500 winning QB that had outstanding defenses carrying him through two playoff runs. At best, he is comparable to Tony Romo. But his daddy will get him in.

Jim Plunkett also has 2 SB rings as a starter and he never has made the HOF.

Plunkett was not a great NFL QB, but I'd probably take him over Eli.

That's sort of weird. Eli is your favorite football player of ALL TIME? Was it that he was so much better than everyone else or his awesome personality?

That's like saying my favorite NBA player of all-time is Kurt Rambis.

Horrible stats but has the rings. Personality - glasses.

And he'll forever be known as one of the worst HOFers in NFL History. Dude has been straight trash for most of the last decade.

Eli was a bitch from literally the first day of his NFL career with his daddy yelling.
