The Olympics are a money laundering scam.
They are prime examples of how society will build all that bullshite for a single event that lasts a few weeks, have a few hundred slave laborers die constructing it, and bank roll a few hundred worldly elites.

At least like some countries what they bid will actually be delivered, but they shouldn’t be guaranteed getting bid just because of all this spent money (like new stadiums getting the Super Bowl).

The legal punishment for evangelizing or converting to Christianity in the UAE is death. I’d say that makes it astronomically more dangerous to be an open Christian in that country than New Orleans, where I’m sitting right now.

Yea I was clueless just like you when I first moved to UAE. Then I started going into the non tourist areas and workers camps outside the cities. You see what they want you to see. They don’t tell you about the people who can’t leave because of debts or some a-hole Arab who won’t return their passport. Good friend of mine there has a maid in this predicament. The Arab who brought her in won’t return her passport. He even threatened to have my friend arrested if he didn’t return her to him.
It would be interesting to know the suicide rates there. They obviously don’t publish them but it happens often. I had the misfortune of seeing a dead body splatted on the E11 one day. South Asia worker who jumped from an overpass into traffic.

You seem to be having a hard time understanding this. Christians are free to walk around in Dubai or UAE without worrying about being robbed, assaulted, or murdered. It just doesn’t happen there. Not sure why this triggers people so much? They have an obedient society no different than Japan and South Korea. Can’t say the same for shitholes like New Orleans and Birmingham.
