He should be suspended 2 games for the slur, and 10 games for going to a Kenny Chesney concert.

Watching NFLN talk about this is hilarious

Tomlinson on the incident - "Vick, his quarterback, is potentially black"

I like what skip said. Fire him. So basically do what the browns did with Stallworth. Whom killed someone.

I'll bet the media rips Cooper harder for this than they rip Hernandez for murder.

Big talk at a Chesney concert.

Gonna be a quiet locker room....

Vick: You know you can kill dogs? Ram a girls head into a shitter stall when she rejects your advances? But you can't say that.

Needs to watch the Chris Rock bit on when it is OK for a white dude to say it. He met NONE of the qualifications.

They should mic up some of these players and release the unedited audio. I imagine it'd be much worse than what Cooper said.

I just think it's pathetic that in 2013 people are still a bunch of sensitive nancies. The word only has the power that you give it. Why empower the word? If I'm called a cracker, I couldn't care less, I fail to see the purpose of making a big deal out of this word.

Lil Wayne shouldnt be offended by anything

Within the last year he released a song that said, and I quote, "I'll beat that p**** up like Emmitt Till".

He has literally ZERO standing to cast any stones.

I am growing increasingly frustrated at the massive double standard. The media, IMHO, uses "controversy" such as this to keep the masses stirred up.

It amazes me that athletes and rappers use the N word as a common term in everyday conversation. It is used by a white person, be it a fat old lady or a subpar white receiver and it is all the sudden a national story.

There is little doubt that Cooper's career will be marred by this and his life we forever be linked to using a word...that was not even at black people (from my understanding).

It's like we live in the twilight zone.

This entire issue is blown so completely out of proportion it's sickening. So he said one choice word that is viewed as derogatory towards one race from another, but acceptable from one race to the same race. Don't give me that tired bullshite of -gga and -ger. When a black man has a black friend it's what up my -gga. When that same black man is pissed at that same black dude and they are about to fight is -gga you betta shut yo mouth before you get popped.

What Riley said was dumb and he shouldn't have said it. However, this double standard surrounding the word needs to stop. Nobody needs to say it. I don't care if you were brought up in that sort of environment. If someone who was brought up being poor, should they just automatically settle for being poor when they become responsible for their actions? No, they should attempt to better than what they had growing up. It's as simple as that.
