The talent level on the field is not as good, but I enjoy college baseball, football, and basketball far more than MLB, NFL, and NBA.

Definitely more enjoyable for me to watch.
Obviously the quality of play in terms of talent and ability, with less fielding errors, is superior in MLB. However, despite more fans in the stands, I don't feel like there's as much energy on the field or in the stands as a college game, especially when you get to Regional play.
I haven't watched a single MLB game yet this season. I've watched LOTS of college baseball.

The absolute worst MLB franchise will crush a CWS champion with regularity.
But Bama football would give the Jacksonville Jaguars one hell of a beating, right?

Nope, not even close, and I love college baseball.

Superior? No.
More enjoyable? Yes.
MLB is too slow of a game with fewer rallies and less unpredictability, whereas the college game is still relatively untouched by three outcome baseball.

I've been to Rockies, Rangers and of course Razorback baseball games this year and to be honest had a lot more fun sitting in the middle of the Hog Pen outfield berm drinking at the Arkansas game than I did the other two. The Rangers game was just completely dead and it's so big you don't feel like you're really even at a game. Rockies game was a lot more fun than the Rangers one but still just felt too...corporate I guess. But the ballparks are impressive.
Having cheerleaders, college traditions and even getting to watch the Sweet 16 basketball game on the baseball video board are just things you get with college that the pros can't replicate to me. But I get that everyone is different, the same people that prefer NFL probably prefer MLB as well. There is a lot more pettiness during SEC series between the two schools/fanbases since you play in other sports too.

I think if you were comparing apples to apples....MLB playoffs to Regionals you would.
And only about 20 teams averaged over 3000 per game "paid" attendance in college baseball last year so outside of about 5-6 SEC schools and a small handful of others, ain't much energy at most regular season college baseball games.

It's not at all. But I do find the tournament/CWS far more compelling.

It’s definitely not superior in terms of play, however that imperfection does have a certain charm that I can appreciate.

Bunting for runs isn’t something I would pay serious money for.
It would be a fun gimmick in a game with kids though

I'm amazed at the amount of times I have seen middle of the lineup hitters called to sac bunt in college. Just terrible strategy.

This Arkansas Ole Miss game is two innings in and going on 1 hour and 45 minutes due to horrible pitching and suspect defense. I don’t see how people can watch this all the time. This is the best of the best and it’s awful.

Couldn't care less about college baseball unless LSU is in the MCWS.

There is way more on the line in a college baseball game than regular season MLB games. I love both but MLB is far superior product/value on a game to game basis. My problem with MLB is that expansion has diluted the talent pool, a lot of these guys don't belong and are likely AA at best from past rosters.

Pretty much my take as well. Can't say I've watched a half-inning.

MLB hasn't expanded anymore than any of the other leagues. In fact, there are fewer teams than the NFL and NHL. The way pitching has been dominating hitting the last few years, I'd say pitchers aren't the problem.

I would love to see any two MLB teams play if only for the stadium experience, but I wouldn’t walk across the street to watch a typical college baseball game for free.
I’m not hating on college baseball. It just doesn’t interest me outside of championship drama.

imagine up north they like MLB more and don’t understand why we watch this.
You can change "up north" to literally "the entire rest of America".

Nobody thinks this.
CFB? Maybe. Over the NFL.
But college baseball is semi-retarded with the bats and balls, just a grown up Little League and nobody really watches it.
Despite proclamations on this board that its Super popular! Yeah when LSU is winning, the Rant comes out. But otherwise nobody watches this beyond family members and drunk College kids, usually Freshmen at their new College.
