This would likely leave 2 SEC teams in the top 4, as a one loss Alabama makes it in all circumstances at this point. Oklahoma would make it in if they win oht, so there's 3 teams in. After that, we have the ACC champion, who'll either be Miami or Clemson. Either one one who wins will only have 1 loss so they'll be in als. This leaves OSU as the odd man out, so they better be rooting for Alabama tommorrow. Also, OSU has practically zero good wins away from a 2 loss PSU team, so that'll be some food for thought for the committee.

Yes.

If Ohio State and Alabama win out, Ohio State has an 81% chance to go to the CFP.

If Ohio State wins out and Bama loses to Auburn, Ohio State has a 61% chance to go.

tOSU needs Bama to win out.
That will leave
1. Bama
2. OU (allegdly)
3. Clemson (or even UM)
4. tOSU or UGA

If UM wins out after this loss to Pitt, they should be in as should Clemson.

Assuming Alabama wins out:

1) Alabama
2) Oklahom
3) Miami/Clemson
4) Clemson/Miami

Clemson and Miami play next week. If Clemson beats USCe then it’s a win and your in game, loser is out.

Yes, I've been saying all along, Bama is probably already in.

Better to lose the Iron Bowl, sit out the SEC Conference title game like 2011 and just relax at #4 and prepare for January.

This committee has shown no special consideration for winning your Conference despite their professed mandate to heavily weigh Conference Champions.

See Penn State last year.

Nope. Loser goes home, IMO.

explain how that is better to lose?
First of all they're not a LOCK with a loss tomorrow. Their best win after this week will be LSU. That's not a good resume. However if they win tomorrow, then they might be a lock at that point even with a loss against Georgia.

Secondly, Saban cares about SEC titles. And why leave it in the hands of the committee.

If Alabama losses they have absolutely no argument to make the playoffs but you know the retard committee will make up some new ridiculous criteria to get them in.

Honestly, I agree. Losing tomorrow leaves them with a completely shitty resume.

Why?

If we have no issues with other two loss teams getting in, why are Clemson and/or Miami an exception?

It does.

But they're still, like, a really good team.
